Your baby, just over 1 1/2 inches long and about the size of a FIG, is now almost fully formed. Her hands will soon open and close into fists, tiny tooth buds are beginning to appear under her gums, and some of her bones are beginning to harden. She's already busy kicking and stretching, and her tiny movements are so effortless they look like water ballet. These movements will become more frequent as her body grows and becomes more developed and functional. You won't feel your baby's acrobatics for another month or two -- nor will you notice the hiccuping that may be happening now that her diaphragm is forming.
Zack and I realized all the stuff we want to get done before baby comes into our world. I don't know if it is "Spring Fever" or the feeling that we want everything in place for the baby? Needless to say, I have been wanting handles for all my kitchen cabinets for about two years and all of a sudden I came home with them this past weekend. I do love that it is spring though. I have already been out working in my garden. Hopefully I can teach my little one early to LOVE playing in the mud. I have a feeling when I have a toddler literally playing in the mud those words will come back to haunt me!
Strange to think of myself with a toddler let alone a baby! Strange and scary. I pray with all of my might that I will have a great relationship with my child. I have a wonderful relationship with my parents and can only hope to do the same with my child. I am learning VERY slowly but surely that it is in God's hands and to not kill myself worrying. There is no point, If it is his will it is his way. This is what I remind myself daily.
P.S. Women of the World: When a women tells you she is pregnant why do you feel the need to begin talking about horror deliveries and all the deformities and problems a child can be born with? If you were EVER pregnant remember how that felt when people starting telling you something let alone everything could be wrong with your unborn "FIG" , and if you have NEVER been pregnant why do you feel the need to tell women that their "va-jayjay" will never be the same and they will need reconstructive surgery. We are all on the same team here, why scare each other half to death.
P.S.S. This is what I found out from reactions when you start telling people you are preggers cause you are coming close to the end of your first trimester!

" Oh Me..."
Today, April 9th 2010, My Grandpa Raymond Davis passed away. He moved down to Illinois over a year ago to be closer to all of us. Unfortunately his health has rapidly declined since he moved. I know he missed my grandma who has already passed, so I know he is excited to see her again. His famous words were always a sigh followed by an " Oh Me". He also loved to razz me about biting my fingernails( which I finally broke the habit). We will miss you grandpa so very much.

10 WEEKS!
Although he's barely the size of a kumquat -- a little over an inch or so long, crown to bottom -- and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce, your baby now has completed the most critical portion of his development. This is the beginning of the so-called fetal period, a time when the tissues and organs in his body rapidly grow and mature. If you could take a peek inside your womb, you'd spot minute details, like tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin. Why do they keep referring to it as a "he" and what in lords name is a kumquat? LOL

" Thanks Easter Bunny "
Happy Easter to everyone. We had a great day today filled with lots of family love! We started the day at church with me, Zack, my sister and brother-in-law,my amazing niece, my mother-in-law, and my mom and dad! It was great to all be together celebrating the day that Christ has risen! Little baby Kerruish got its first gift from the Easter Bunny ( a awesome rattle from Grandma Kerruish ) and I got a Easter present from my hubby! I am going to try to grow fresh tomatoes on my patio this year and my hunny got me a tomato plant, pot, and sour patch kids ( yummy )! We than all went to my parents house to eat eat and eat! Ham, cheesy potatoes, green bean casserole, salad, lasagna, and lots of dessert! What else could a polish pregnant women need! LOL
We also found out great news on our dear Poppy, so thanks for all the prayers! He will be able to just take on a surgery and maybe radiation. He will not have to go through any chemotherapy, yea for that.
Tomorrow I will be 10 weeks preggers! Zack and I laughed the other night realizing that within 20 minutes or so I was laughing hysterically to crying. Those hormones can be very interesting. It is strange to me that right now I feel the most self conscious I have ever felt before in my life. I guess what I am learning so far is to take everything in stride. I have a while to go but I am really excited to start feeling my baby. Seems like it will be so fun and weird at the same time!Happy Easter to everyone and " THANKS EASTER BUNNY! "

Eggs, Eggs, and MORE Eggs!
Zack and I decided to keep the Easter tradition alive of coloring eggs! Yes guys I am a nerd , but this literally was the first time I boiled eggs. Pretty proud of myself but then again It was really easy. Zack and I at the same time without knowing it made a Baby Kerruish egg and strangely enough both of us picked our eggs to be blue. What do you think this means folks? no confirmation for awhile obviously , but it makes me wonder......

Time with my " FIG "
Me , Annie, Jason , and my Mom all got to spend a day together with my WONDERFUL niece Isabel this past Thursday. We all caravan together to the Dupage Children's Museum and then went to lunch afterwards! I had a blast! I have never been to that museum and I think I had just as much fun as my little fig ( niece) did! The preggo brain has slowly set in though. I almost lost my camera that day 2 times and the night before I had left my phone at the local Jimmy Johns. Luckily an honest person turned it in for me! The unfortunate thing is that I was a pretty forgetful person to start out with , so this should be really interesting. Zack, get ready! LOL Nobody told me either that when I hit nine weeks pregnant that I will have acne break outs on my face like I have never had before. I never even had this bad of breakouts when i was going through puberty!!!! what the......
I laugh cause I think now what they mean by " The Glow" a pregnant women has is the grease on her face! LOL! at least that is how I feel. PILE THAT MAKE-UP ON!

Free port, Bahamas was a nice get away but unfortunately it was chilly when we were there. It was in the 60's during the day and 30's at night! CRAZY! Miami, Florida was in the same temp. What a weird winter we all our having! we were in the Bahamas March 1st thru the 7th and we had a blast. It is always nice to get away with my husband. We are to little busy bees so its nice when we quite down together!
